Got my nails done

I got my nails done yesterday, thought id share with you what i got done :) There acrylics and she hand painted the pattern i was amazed !

My Beauty Staples

Hi guys, i thought id do a ' beauty staples ' type post today as i love reading these myself and seeing what products people cant live without.  These are all products i swear by and basically need in my life :)

Moisturiser - I use moisturiser every single day, once before i go to bed and in the morning before i apply my  foundation.  I use this one in the morning because it absorbs really quickly into my skin so its really good for on the go.  Its a light moisturiser and keeps my skin hydrated for the day.  If i didn't have a moisturiser in the morning i basically couldn't apply my foundation as my skin is rather dry in the morning.

Concealer - If i only had to pick one make-up item to use for the rest of my life it would be concealer, i don't have suffer from promblem skin at all so foundation isn't a necessity for me.  So abit of concealer under my eyes to make me look awake and im good to go.  I think we have all heard about this concealer its very famous in the beauty world, its amazing this is my 4th tube!

Bronzer - I love to be tanned it just makes me feel better! so bronzer is a must for me, i use it every day .  I had recently caved and bought laguna bronzer from Nars  (review here)

Purple Shampoo - So if you haven't got blonde hair this wont appeal to you at all, but being a blonde myself this product plays an important part in my hair care routine.  It takes away any braziness/yellowness in my hair and makes it brighter.  I use this toner once/twice a week to maintain my colour.

Exfoliator - I really like to take care of my skin not just on my face but on my whole body.  So i exfoliate at least once a week to remove any dead skin cells (iwww) and to make my skin look brighter and healthy.  I really recommend this one from Soap&Glory, if you are an fake tan user, like me :),  this is amazing for removing fake tan.  This smells sooo nice of shea butter and sweet fruits, also i am just coming to the end of this and i have had it for a year and a half it lasts ages !

Cheap and Cheerful

I have been a lover of the Aussie conditioners for a few years now especially the 3 minute miracle one, but recently my mum picked up the Alberto Balsam conditioner from our local Tesco's and i have been really impressed!
I have always scanned past the Alberto Balsam range when looking for hair products because if im completely honest for 99p, YES 99P, i didn't think it would be amazing.  But i was completely wrong.

Ok so this smells BEAUTIFUL if you love the smell of coconut then literally get up now and buy this.  It lingers in your hair after its dry and i just swish my hair round all day and its great :) haha.
One of the other main factors which really surprised me about this product is how soft and nourished my hair feels after using it.  I have used more expensive conditioners than this and they haven't left me with the softness this gives.

On the back of the bottle it quotes 'It uses most of the ingredients you'll find in higher priced brands but at a great price'  (Which i didn't actually notice until i was taking these pictures).  So that's always a plus and for 99p you cant go wrong!  I really think the quality of this conditioner is amazing and the smell i can happily agree is heavenly.

Sally Hansen Maximum Growth

Hello guys :) feel like i haven't blogged in ages! i have been enjoying the lovely sunshine we've been having and i have literally been making them most of it sunbathing everyday haha.
Anyway I wanted to talk about a nail treatment by Sally Hansen i have been really loving.
Up to the age of about 14 i have to shamelessly admit i bit my nails, i then decided i wanted to stop and have healthy long nails.  As easy as it sounds it really wasn't, I stopped biting my nails and when they got to a certain length they would just break off, they were very weak and brittle.

I saw this in boots and thought id give it ago, it says to apply a fresh coat daily and will help make your nails more flexible so this will prevent it your nails just snapping off.
I have seen results using this product my nails are defiantly more flexible, they have grown (not to a length i am satisfied with yet BUT there is an improvement)  This drys extremely quick which is always a plus, i apply this on my bare nails then apply a colour and then i use it as a top coat and it works great and helps the colour from chipping.  If you do have weak/ thin nails i would recommend this it does make your nails stronger and just look healthier :)
Also i will add this bottle has lasted me ages and was only around £4 something.

Macs Hey Sailor Collection | Sail La Vie lipstick

Iv never bought anything from any of Macs collections in the past as nothings ever really catched my eye, but i'm a sucker for packaging so i went to my nearest Mac counter to check it out.
I was drew to this lipstick immediately, its like nothing i have in my little collection.

                                                                      (Without flash)

                                                                     (With flash)

I would describe it as an orangy red, i have always been afraid of wearing orange tones on my lips but this is so pretty on and i think would look gorge in the summer and with a bit of a tan.
It a Satin finished so its not completely matte it does have a bit of sheen which i really like, i wore this yesterday and the wear is really good i would say it lasts for a good 5 hours and it does leave a slight stain so you can tell its got good staying power.
I bought this for £14.00 which is 50p more than your average Mac lipstick probably because of the packaging.
